Throughout her undiagnosed ADHD journey, Beth had always felt like she didn't quite fit in, often feeling awkward and as if everyone else had been handed a manual for life that she somehow missed out on. It wasn't until receiving a late perimenopausal ADHD diagnosis at the age of 46 that everything suddenly clicked into place for her.
Despite achieving significant weight loss in her early twenties, Beth continued to struggle with episodes of disordered eating. It took considerable time and effort to cultivate a positive body image and embrace her own skin, an ongoing process that she continues to navigate and Beth now has a keen interest in how nutrition and movement can support ADHD.
With almost 25 years of experience coaching hundreds of individuals in behaviour change, particularly focusing on disordered eating and body confidence, Beth discovered a newfound passion through the lens of ADHD coaching. Her ADHD diagnosis shed light on her own life experiences, allowing her to recognise patterns in eating habits, weight health, mental and physical health, confidence, self-esteem relationships, and more.
Beth's journey has taken an unexpected turn with the recent addition of a rebellious thyroid, adding another layer to her experiences. Having scored highly on almost every trait associated with ADHD, this lifetime of navigating undiagnosed ADHD and disordered eating, now coupled with the challenges of menopause and thyroid dysfunction, has enriched her understanding of the complexities her clients face. Beth’s unique perspective fosters a deep sense of empathy, respect, and understanding, allowing her to connect with clients on a personal level and guide them through their individual journeys.
Nicky’s passion is education and her CV highlights an impressive background of working with both neurotypical and neurodivergent children and young people. As a mam of 4, Nicky has spent most of her adult life successfully juggling caring for her large family with the professional demands of being a PA, University student, Primary School Teacher and more recently, Wellness Coach.
With a BA in Primary Education, specialising in the ADHD coexisting condition of Dyscalculia, Nicky has a passion for equality within the education system. Nicky cares deeply about supporting all children and young people to achieve their goals and aspirations and not be held back by their perceptions of what neurodivergent individuals, especially those with ADHD, can aspire to do and be. Nicky understands the demands that higher and further education can put upon all young people, but especially those challenged with trying to thrive in an education system primarily designed for those who are neurotypical.
As a fully trained and experienced Behaviour Change Coach, Nicky also supports hundreds of adults each week to improve their weight health and wellness. Nicky achieves this through a blend of 1-2-1 coaching and group coaching/facilitation.
Nicky’s calm & caring persona, combined with an incredible attention to detail, planning and organisation, means she is expertly placed to empower those who crave more structure, routine and tranquillity in their lives while still maintaining the creativity and zest that go hand in hand with a more neurodivergent brain.
Beck describes herself as ‘neuro-quirky’ and openly admits to feeling more comfortable when surrounding herself with people who are more neurodivergent than neurotypical. As a mum to two grown up boys with Autism, Beck relates to the many challenges that can come with raising neurodivergent children, and the unhealthy obsession of questioning your own parenting skills and abilities.
Beck is also extremely passionate about fairness and equality in the workplace. As a Leader with over 20 years corporate experience, she has consistently managed individuals with both ADHD and Autism, prioritising supporting them to thrive not just survive in whatever role they perform.
Beck also has a passion for learning and development with professional qualifications in training design and delivery, as well as leadership and management. Beck believes that engagement is key to the development of high performing teams and that treating everyone with respect & kindness, ensuring individuals feel valued, and knowing how their work and efforts have contributed to overall strategy, is at the heart of that.
Beck firmly believes in the power of coaching to unlock an individual’s potential. With more than 15 years experience in behaviour change coaching, she has empowered thousands of people to live their healthiest and happiest life. Beck’s professional goal is to empower and support those challenged by ADHD (and other neurodivergent conditions) to thrive both at work and in their personal lives and firmly believes that coaching is the vehicle for achieving that.
She's also a massive nerd, so if you love Star Wars, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, The Walking Dead, Stranger Things or Game of Thrones - she's the coach for you!
